Im Going To Attempt To Comment On This Without Sounding Ignorant, Which Is Ironic.

John Mayer might be a cad, a womanizer, a douchebag, overly honest, attention seeking, racist, a loudmouth or whatever gossip blogs and magazines like to call him, but when it comes down to it, I'm a fan of what he has to say through his music and not through his Twitter. (Unlike everyone else, apparently.)

I don't condone what he said but I'm not interested in censoring him either, because when the guy is media-shamed into so much guilt that he breaks down in the middle of performing, it's gone too far. He's a guitarist, and a damn fine one at that, not a beacon of witty two-liners to brighten everyone's boring Twitter feed. 

Only problem is, he didn't realize that either. The kid's got a side of personality, and he rode it, far. But when people keep nudging you and telling you you're funny, you're funny, you're real, you're honest, you're amusing...well, it pushes you to say outlandish things you usually wouldnt. He may have dug himself the hole he's in, but everyone else seems to have handed him the shovel.
