Some things will boggle my mind forever. Anyway, in case you weren't following the whole debacle on Twitter, my cover's been blown. I'm a humungous, obsessive Spoon fan and I will dance and flail my tote bag around anyone who is standing tall like a pillar of bored, uninterested listening. Usually, I have a small cluster of girlfriends who will flail and dance with me in the forest-like crowd of bodies unmoved, but this time, the crowd was just as crazy. Dancing! Yelling! Cheering! And enough screaming that the tubsy man next to me at Music Hall of Williamsburg's 3rd Anniversary Show on Monday night grunted, "great, MORE screaming" purposefully loud enough for me to hear, and subsequently send silent hate daggers his way.

They played "Nobody Gets Me But You", "I Summon You" and "Stay Don't Go", which in Carlye terms means they did everything. And in layman's terms — and I say that because the majority were; the shrills before the newest album's songs and dead silence for anything pre-2007 was proof enough — it was just as fulfilling, as Britt's obvious surprisecitement at the crazy crowd led to not one, but two encores.

Oh, and for all you boozehounds out there: here's the best advice I'll ever give. Saved me about $10, and made drinking in a swaying crowd a whole hell of a lot easier. Win-win-win-win-win. Win.
