I'd be a little more bummed about wrapping up our Pianos recaps if I hadn't flown to Los Angeles yesterday, consumed an adorable Animal Style, American cheese-topped food baby, and gotten to see this very band perform to a crowd of ULCA students in a room with chandeliers older than the small smattering of family heirlooms at my grandma's place.
Cross-country viewings or not, it's really no secret at this point — we adore this band. Little did we know when we added our headlining act to the bill months ago that we'd only grow to be bigger fans, finding gems on the album that still surprise us after we're deep in the amount of times we've played it through. And in Pianos' upstairs space, full of smiles and margaritas, we watched them play one of the best sets of the entire week. Now, you can too:

I was lucky enough to see three of their cmj shows (including this last one) but i still want to see them live again! i am even considering the travel to another state, thats how great they are :>)
